Our Organization
Southern Oklahoma McDonald's Restaurant Group has been in Oklahoma for more than 25 years and spans two generations! Kathy Lopez-Thorley started working at McDonald’s in California in 1977 as a crew person. She and her husband, Rick Thorley, now own and operate McDonald’s restaurants in southern Oklahoma. Their combined experience is more than 80 years.

The Thorley’s two oldest children and their spouses also own and operate McDonald’s in the state: Ryan and Amanda Thorley and Gary and Jennifer Mornhinweg.

As an organization and owner/operators of McDonald’s, the Thorley family is committed to bringing you as a customer, employee or community partner the best experience.

Our Community Involvement
Our organization should positively affect the communities our McDonald’s are located. Throughout the year, we provide support and donations to non-profit organizations
,

schools and local events.

In addition to supporting the local communities, our organization has supported the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oklahoma City for 25 years serving as volunteers and board members. Kathy Lopez-Thorley is currently serving on the RMHC of OKC Board of Directors, while Jennifer Mornhinweg has also served as a board member.
