OUR HISTORY

McDok is a family-owned and operated organization that has been in Oklahoma for 30 years, spanning two generations! Kathy Lopez- Thorley started working as a crew member at McDonald's in 1977. As she learned about the career opportunities, her husband, Rick Thorley, also became involved with McDonald's. They later became franchisees in Ada, Oklahoma, where they have grown their business.

As they created the foundation of their business, Thorley's three children and their spouses, Ryan and Amanda Thorley, Gary and Jennifer Mornhinweg, Jacob and Micah Thorley, have joined their organization. With 21 restaurants across southern Oklahoma, the family and McDok are committed to bringing you as a customer, an employee, or a community partner the next experience at a McDonald's.
